A vineyard holiday in Sweden? Yes please. 🍇 Earlier this week, Terra Skåne welcomed 150 wine experts from some of the world's most acclaimed restaurants. They came for the global final of the Star Wine List Awards, but also got to experience what makes this region so special – the vineyards, the people behind the wines and the rolling northwestern Skåne countryside. Right now, the vineyards are entering their most beautiful time of year. Terra Skåne is home to nine vineyards, each with its own character, history and flavour profile. Enjoy guided tours, tastings, great food and landscapes that make you want to stay a little longer. Our summer tip: plan a visit to a few of Terra Skåne's vineyards. The evenings are longer than ever, as solstice and midsummer is here! 🌞✨ Enjoy the sun setting in Öresund, here are five of ur favorite spots where the sunset hits different in Helsingborg. ✨ 1. Fria Bad Right at the water's edge with the harbour on one side and open sky on the other. Low-key and local – this is where Helsingborg winds down. 2. The Terrace Stairs (Terrasstrapporna) Grab a takeaway coffee, climb the steps and watch the sky turn gold over the Öresund. The view from up here never gets old. 3. The Helsingør ferry Skip the stationary viewpoint – catch the sunset from the deck as you cross the strait. Twenty minutes of open water, golden light and the Helsingborg skyline slowly shrinking behind you. No seat reservation needed, just step outside. 4. Parapeten The long pier stretches straight out into the strait. Walk to the end, sit down and let the whole horizon open up in front of you. 5. Pålsjöbaden Bath is optional, sunset mandatory. 🍷 What a week for Swedish wine! 🇸🇪 Yesterday, the global final of the Star Wine List Awards was hosted in Terra Skåne, bringing together 150 wine experts from some of the world's most renowned restaurants. With representatives from 28 countries, our region was truly in the international spotlight. We’re incredibly proud to have had the opportunity to showcase what Swedish vineyards have to offer. Terra Skåne is proving that the new world of wine can be found right here in the old world. ✨ The programme included masterclasses, wine tastings and, of course, a taste of Sweden’s most beloved tradition – Midsummer. Guests got to experience flower crown making, dancing around the maypole and classic Swedish Midsummer games. 🌼💃 Yesterday was spent at Kullabergs Vingård and Arilds Vingård. Today, participants are heading out on different tours to discover more of Terra Skåne’s vineyards.
