Premiär för den nya lekplatsen Surflekan på Gröningen.
Take the kids to one of the city’s cool theme playgrounds! Here are a number of different to choose from. Do not miss the latest addition Surflekan which opened in April 2020.

Surflekan is a surf inspirated playground. The playground is located right by the sea on Gröningen. Climb up a giant jellyfish and slide down, practice balance on a surfboard, climb a giant wave or relax in a hammock.

Nearby Kärnan is Slottshagen playground with a medieval theme. Here you will find, among other things, a mini Kärna and small medieval houses. The playground has several different parts that are suitable for all ages. Take the opportunity and bring a picknick and sit down in the nice park.

The city playground, which is located right next to the city library, is the city’s most popular playground. Here is a large colorful rubber mat filled with exciting play equipment such as climbing frames, slides and swings. In the summer there is the opportunity to relax in the park’s hammocks or listen to fairy tales by the fairy tale tree.

At Drottninghög you will find the playground Princesses and Dragons. A dragon has surrounded a princess tower on a rubber mountain. Here the children can climb inside the dragon’s belly and ride the slide down the princess tower.

In the nice Vikingsbergspark is there a nature playground that blends nicely into the park. Here the children can jump on logs and ride the nice wooden horse or climb on the different climbing frames. The park which were originally a privately owned park from the turn of the last century is very beautiful and well worth a visit.

At the colony area at Ringstorp, you can, among other things, hunt criminals in labyrinths and put them in prison. There they are guarded by the police dog. You can also drive a police car, ride police horses, climb and go balance walking. From the lookout point, you can spy on the thieves. If you are lucky, maybe some real cops will come from the police station right next door.
