A cultural day out

In the heart of Helsingborg, right in Norra Hamnen (the North Harbour) you will find Dunkers Kulturhus. The perfect place for escaping the sun and sand for a bit! It is well worth a visit to the 1 000 square metre exhibition on the history of Helsingborg as well as other temporary exhibitions. For the little ones there is Gerda’s family room, where you can play, read or goof around on the obstacle course!

In Slottshagen park, at the top of the stairs from Stortorget, stands the mighty Kärnan. The tower is the only building left of the battlements and castle here that were originally Danish. Today, you can walk up the winding spiral staircase in the tower and visit the exhibition A living history on each of the different levels. Finally you will get to the top to experience the most magnificent view over Öresund and Denmark.

Psst!

The App “Guide Helsingborg” will help guide you around the different experiences and tourist attractions in Helsingborg. Give it a try!
